In this season we will be seeking solidarity with those hungry for the physical, relational, and spiritual needs only Christ can supply. Thankful for you, Gallery

Gallery, 

This Thanksgiving weekend I am so very grateful for you being on the Gallery journey. As I look back at the very brief existence of our church, I see so many great things God has done in us and through us. Please join me as we remember the great things He has done:

• He used us to plant a brand new church. That's amazing! Planting a church is one of the hardest things a group of Jesus-followers can attempt, but THE single most effective way of reaching new people for Christ.
• Every week the values of God's word, His table, His Church, and prayer come to life before, during and after our worship services.
• God has provided manna-in-the-desert financial resources for our ministry. 
• Over the past 3 years The Gallery has invested thousands of hours and well over $50,000 in our community through Bill's Pantry, Shekinah CDC, The Barack and Michelle Obama Service Learning Elementary School, a benevolence gift to 3 families who lost their St. Paul homes in a fire, the 9/11 service, Steppingstone Theatre, etc.
• The Gallery 80/20 rule really doesn't apply to Gallery volunteers. Well over half of Gallery attenders are involved in some form of ministry in or through our church. For all you who serve, thank you!!!
• Well over half of Gallery adults are involved learning, serving, and praying through our Meal Groups.
• Our worship and arts ministry has done an amazing job at being volunteer-led and driven while ministering with great attention the supremacy of Christ.
• The foundation has begun to be built for our urban development ministry The Masterpiece Project.
• And every week I learn of different ways you, Gallery, are caring for each other and those in need in our midst. 

Thank you for your commitment to living God's masterpiece. I hope you will join us this Sunday as we continue to give thanks, and as we launch a new series to guide us through the Christmas season.

MASTERPIECE SUNDAY--this Sunday!

Sunday, Nov. 20: MASTERPIECE SUNDAY--Life in Christ in Art
Gallery, I feel this Sunday you will be very proud of your church. Together we will witness a Gallery-original, a short play called In Transit, a play born out of Gallery members' stories. In them I believe we will see ourselves and God's work among us. This will be a great bring-a-friend event.

• Breakfast goodies at 9:00 AM. 
• Service and play at 10:00 AM.

 

This Saturday, Nov. 20th: BILL'S PANTRY THANKSGIVING GROCERY PROJECT
The Gallery will once again be helping pack Thanksgiving groceries with Bill's Pantry, a ministry to people with HIV living in poverty. Join us this Saturday, Nov. 19th from 8:30 to 10:00 at Dayton Avenue Presbyterian Church. We will be packing groceries for over 30 families. December MISSION PARTNER CLASS
If you’ve made The Gallery your church home, we encourage you to take the next step toward becoming a Gallery Mission Partner. Mission Partners are committed Gallery members who believe in our church’s mission and want to have a voice in leadership, budget, and the future of the church. The next Mission Partner class will happen Sunday night, December 4th at 5:30 PM at Bethel Christian Fellowship.
