This week has been crazy! I started to classes at Bethel Seminary. I had a big meeting for the denomination. I am doing the wedding of two great friends, and I'm starting a new sermon series. I really need to get my "to do list," but I know I should pray first. Again, in line with James 4.2, here's all I need, Lord.
Abba,
You are the power for all I need. My energy is worth nothing, but Your power alive in me brings transformation. I pray for more power, more faith, words and actions that will draw others to Yourself.
I pray for this wedding today. May You be glorified. Anoint that whole gathering so those who don't know You will be drawn to You.
I pray You'd give me the words and the anointing for my message tomorrow. Bring power.
I pray You'd provide all the gallery needs for the single moms who are moving this week.
I pray You'd provide me the diligence to finish my homework for my classes in the next 3 days.
I pray You would bless Bernie and Jessica this whole day as they get married. Give great joy to both families. Thank You for them.
I pray for wisdom for The Gallery's leadership. Give us the counsel we need to know how to move forward with the Obama school.
I pray You would increase The Gallery's giving two-fold over the next year so we can fulfill the calling You've placed upon us.
I pray You would bind our relationship with the new principal. Use us to bring glory to Yourself.
I pray You would remind our Gallery people that our gathering together as Your Church makes a difference.
I pray You would increase the gallery's influence in the neighborhood we serve.
I pray You would use us to change people's eternity.
I pray You would provide Lisa and me the resources we need to pay for all we have to pay for.
I pray You would give us all deep, deep faith. Amen.
